Empowered Avenue Dance was born the successful Empowered Avenue brand which specialises in childrens’ educational classes in a range of subject areas from Science, Math and Literacy and beyond.
Rebecca Wraight (Founder) is a Primary School trained educator with a background in Psychology. She has studied child development extensively as well as different learning styles and alternative methods for teaching. She has experience teaching in a range of settings including school, home, swimming and highland dancing and loves to expand her knowledge and experience by trying new things.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, A Graduate Diploma of Education in Primary School Education, current Teachers Registration Board registration, HLTAID004 Child Care First Aid certificate, CPR, Asthma and Anaphalaxis training, Police clearance, Working with Children Check, Bronze Medallion, Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Trainee Aquatic Trainer and Assessor and current Austswim licence including Infants and Pre-Schoolers. She has successfully completed her Highland Dance Teachers exam in 2019 and currently holds a Teachers Qualification with the Scottish Dance Association of Australia.
